Multi-Panel (Alucobond / ACM) Signs

Multi-Panel, also known as Alucobond or Aluminum Composite Material (ACM), is a lightweight yet rigid sign substrate commonly used for commercial and industrial signage. It consists of two aluminum sheets bonded to a solid polyethylene core, providing excellent strength, stability and durability.

As a local sign company, we fabricate custom ACM signs designed for long-term outdoor use and professional appearance.

Why Multi-Panel (ACM) Is a Popular Choice

Multi-Panel signage offers:

  • Excellent rigidity with low weight

  • Resistance to warping and bending

  • Clean, smooth surface for vinyl graphics

  • Long lifespan in outdoor environments

  • Modern, professional appearance

These qualities make ACM ideal for both permanent and semi-permanent signage.

We produce custom Multi-Panel signs in the lake area for:

  • Building and business signs

  • Industrial facility signage

  • Directional and wayfinding signs

  • Construction and contractor signage

  • Property and site identification

  • Safety and compliance signage

Multi-Panel signs can be cut to size, mounted directly, or installed with standoffs and framing systems.

Thickness Options Available

  • 1/8" ACM – lightweight, cost-effective option

  • 1/4" ACM – added rigidity for larger or long-term signs

We help determine the correct thickness based on sign size, mounting method, and environment.

Designed for Vinyl Graphics

All Multi-Panel signs are finished with high-quality, industrial-grade vinyl for:

  • UV and fade resistance

  • Crisp, readable graphics

  • Strong adhesion to aluminum surfaces

  • Long-term outdoor durability

Multi-Panel vs. Other Sign Materials

  • Multi-Panel (ACM): lightweight, rigid, professional, long-lasting

  • PVC: economical but less durable outdoors

  • Aluminum: extremely durable but higher cost

ACM provides an excellent balance of performance, appearance, and value.
